He lost his father early in life and was truly a self-made man. During the depression he worked in the civilian Conservation Corp. Later he joined the Coast Guard and went to the Artic Circle. He served in the Army in the South pacific during WWII. After the war he got married, went to college and had two children, but with a powerful work ethic and pioneering spirit forged during those difficult times, he wanted more. He wanted to start a business. A son-in-law soon followed with him and a son not long after. The grand kids grew up with the business. Charlie is gone now, but the rest of us still work together. We manufacture quality custom fabric products for Industrial, Commercial, and Residential uses.
